close thickets

by Roosevelt Gill (2017-07-14)

The brush typically grows in very close thickets, sometimes blanketing entire mountainsides, and typically grows ten or 15 feet tall and 8" at the butt, though in some instances it will grow to 35 feet and 16" or so at the butt.

Over the coming months there will be a flurry of rifles chambered for the new .17 HMR cartridge, but I doubt if many will be less expensive - or more accurate - than this one.
